This is your opportunity to become a member of our Technology Consulting division within E.ON’s Digital Technology organization. We are looking for a Technical Conversational Designer (f/m/d) to join our E.ON Digital Technology GmbH team. 


What you are responsible for 

  • You are responsible for the conversational design of business processes and Natural Language Understanding (NLU) modeling for our central managed bots (chat and coice) at E.ON 
  • You independently design the conversations as well as NLU to build natural dialogues for customer service and internal E.ON employees 
  • You consult our business units developing their own conversational solutions and guide them on their conversation automation journey 
  • You analyze historical conversations and monitor the bot performance to identify and built strategic recommendations to optimize the customer experience 
  • You collaborate with various stakeholders from different teams and projects to build long lasting relationships 
  • You demonstrate how we can remain competitive in a fast-paced environment by keeping an eye on industry trends and innovations to foster continuous improvements 
  • You share your knowledge across the entire E.ON Group, conduct trainings and upskill your project teams 


What you are good at 

  • You have several years of work experience within the area of Conversational AI / Conversational Experience Design in the field of customer service and/or sales 
  • Profound knowledge on the most used conversational AI tools (e.g. Cognigy, Microsoft / Luis; Google / Dialogflow; AWS / Amazon Lex; etc.) 
  • You understand the logic behind the scenes for a business flow and how can different configuration influence the flows 
  • Ground knowledge in Python, Java Script will be a plus 
  • Proven experience on customer journey design and analytics to measure the effectiveness of customer journey designs 
  • Good understanding of agile methodologies, as well as Design Thinking 
  • Ability to gather and collect requirements from end-users to build up target models 
  • Hands-on mentality with a very creative mindset 
  • You are a team player and love to communicate openly 
  • Excellent German and English skills, additional European languages would be a plus 
  • You are willing to travel across Europe
