What is the opportunity?

As Senior Director, Conversational AI & Data, you will be responsible for driving the strategic vision within the Engineering community of Contact Centre Technology (CCT). A leader that nurtures talent, culture, and fosters learning sharing your technical expertise to ensure that CCT is on the leading edge of development and engineering practices. You will lead a technical squad responsible for the delivery and execution of new development, operations, and custodianship of the platform.

What will you do?

  • Drive the Client Enablement platform. Leading a high performing agile squad responsible for our NLU IVR (Parley), the front door to the bank consisting of 50% of calls that come in to the bank.
  • Development of a long-term strategy for NLU IVR within the overall CCT CCaaS strategy
  • Deliver a new Asynchronous Messaging channel to connect clients and advisors through digital channels.  
  • Responsible for the Data Engineering platforms supporting all data engineering activities that include; planning, execution, test environment support, and automation
  • Drive innovation with squad members, promote an agile culture and Engineering Mindset through coaching and mentorship while fostering a culture of self-improvement and learning.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • 10 years in software development/engineering
  • 5-7 years as a Team Lead
  • 5-7 years developing software in an Agile environment
  • 5-7 years acting as a mentor or coach to junior developers
  • Experience driving technical deliverables for multiple major programs across squad backlogs, collaborating with other platform leads, development leads, Scrum Masters and Product Owners.
  • Experience managing Asynchronous Messaging Platforms, including Secure Email platform and new Asynchronous Chat Conversational AI platform.
  • Experience creating learning paths and development plans with squad members, establishing goal for the squad that align to their competencies
