Do you want to transform how millions of people engage with websites, apps, and bots through Conversational and Voice UI? The Conversation Platform team at Expedia Group is building our Virtual Agent technology by creating conversational experiences that automate the most significant travel journeys. Our vision is to offer self-service to our customers, assist our expert agents and engage our suppliers in ongoing travel conversations.

We are looking for a Product Manager II who will lead product features end to end from Vision through execution, making customer service a crafted experience. You will operate strategically: thinking big to drive new opportunities and diving deep in data to uncover customer insights. You will need to be able to prioritize effectively in a fast-changing environment, build and simplify, and communicate clearly and persuasively. You will have a passion for travel, take ownership of the business, and enjoy working with groups across the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Guide product definition through every stage of the agile software development lifecycle while collaborating across the organization.
  • Build business cases using competitive analysis, market and customer research.
  • Partner closely with engineering, UX, and business teams to create solutions that satisfy customer experience, business, and technology goals. Facilitate decision-making, propose alternative solutions, and help identify gaps.
  • Help with prioritization activities including management of trade-offs between cost, schedule, and customer benefit.
  • Define product success and work to drive customer adoption.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of proven experience in product management or program management in software companies.
  • Previous experience with chatbots, conversational AI, data science, natural language processing (NLP), or natural language understanding (NLU) is a plus.
  • Strong customer centricity with experience crafting solutions with a team.
  • Detail oriented, yet able to look at a wide array of choices & identify what truly matters.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in order to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • High energy and a positive outlook with the passion to make things better at every opportunity.
