Headquartered in Sunnyvale, CA., Technologies, Inc. is a privately-held company backed by Accel Partners, Redpoint Ventures, Upfront Ventures, M12 (formerly Microsoft Ventures), Comcast Ventures, Salesforce Ventures and the Amazon Alexa Fund. is seeking a talented and highly motivated individual to become a member of our Go-To Market (GTM) team to prospect and acquire new customers. The Solution Engineer will partner with Account Executives in understanding customer pain points, acquiring business requirement/use cases, and applying our solutions to customer business processes.

  1. Understand how solutions can be applied to a variety of business challenges at prospects and customers. Demonstrate the ROI associated with the implementation of our solution.
  2. Demonstrate the value proposition to prospects and customers
  3. Conduct discovery sessions to understand customer business process; analyze and translate those requirements to Statements of Work.
  4. Prepares cost estimates
  5. Provides expert knowledge of the platform; answers and advises customers on our products’ technical requirements, security capabilities, and feature sets.
  6. Prepares cost estimates based on customer objective; consults with engineers, architects, business leaders and other customer functional and technical personnel.
  7. Develops customer resources by providing technical education and training.
  8. Respond and answer to customer inquiries with regards to Tact architecture, security, and technical integrations

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5+ years of a sales/solution engineering discipline or related role
  • BA/BS equivalent
  • Business consulting background preferred
  • Strong understanding of CRM application/configuration (Salesforce, Dynamics, etc.)
  • Effective at leading executive meetings and workshops; conduct Conference Room Pilots
  • Create and author custom presentations depicting Tact solutions solving customer specific use cases in collaboration with Account Executives
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and perform effectively in a highly dynamic work environment; perform tasks and activities that may be out of your comfort zone
  • Assist Sales Account Executives navigate customer organizational structures to identify and nurture relationships with key executives and stakeholders
  • Effective at working with customers to discover existing process and technology challenges; present our products as solutions that deliver and demand value
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and perform effectively in a highly dynamic work environment; perform tasks and activities that may be out of your comfort zone
  • Effective at leading and facilitating executive meetings and workshops
  • Proficient at being prescriptive and driving action-oriented meetings
  • Strong knowledge of business processes across disciplines (Sales, Sales Operations, etc.)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to quickly grasp and distinctly explain technological and business concepts to non-technical users

Bonus Skills (not required):

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification or demonstrated equivalent proficiency 
  • Detailed knowledge of CRM applications such as Oracle On-demand, Microsoft Dynamics
