About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Coordinate office activities & operations to secure efficiency & compliance with company policies
2. Supervise administrative staff & divide responsibilities to ensure performance
3. Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for the upper management
4. Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages, etc.)
5. Support budgeting & bookkeeping procedures
6. Create and update records & databases with personnel & financial data
7. Track stocks of office supplies & place orders when necessary
8. Submit reports & prepare proposals as assigned
9. Assist colleagues whenever necessary
10. Discover profitable suppliers & initiate business and organization partnerships
11. Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
12. Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services
13. Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
14. Examine and test existing contracts
15. Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve the effectiveness
16. Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
17. Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
18. Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data & prepare control strategies
19. Perform risk management for supply contracts & agreements
