We are looking for an experienced ML Manager to lead end-to-end evaluation and interpretability of Siri ML models to drive the best experience for Siri users while collaborating with multi-functional teams across the company, driving useful reports, and ensuring high-quality feature releases. Key Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant, proven expertise including 3+ years leading science teams.
  • Proven understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals, plus validated experience in at least one of the following: NLP, speech recognition.
  • Hands-on experience with building ML applications.
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead technical design discussions from concept to implementation.
  • Proven ability to build efficient teams and drive innovation in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively connect and work hands-on in multi-functional teams.


As the ML manager of the Diagnostics, Experimentation and Evaluation (DEE) team, you will direct a team of Machine Learning Engineers and data scientist to define new innovative ways for E2E evaluation, interpretability and failure analysis of ML based systems. You will build the technical vision, roadmap for the team and lead collaborative efforts with data science and ML partners across Siri to ensure that every release delivers an improved Siri user experience.

Education & Experience

M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or related fields
